The societal doctrine that beauty is only skin deep is a fallacy. Beauty goes beyond mere flesh. True beauty is ingrained in one’s soul. The general consensus of the perfect face, body, hair and look that has shaped the world of modern women into an unrealistic idea of what beauty truly is. When handling a rose remarks of its beauty flows infinitely from the lips of the beholder. As we all know beauty is just that which lies in the eyes of the beholder. Most of whom are indoctrinated narrow minded simpletons who can only see just beyond the tips of their noses. But nature shows those of us who have the ability to see through the looking glass and form a definition based on all that encompasses the subject. A cactus to many is an ugly and useless species of plant life to those that see only what they have been told to see. However if you look beyond mere cosmetics of said cacti the beholder would ascertain that it’s beauty and purpose that lies within far surpasses the aesthetics of a mere rose. A rose does not have the longevity of a cactus nor does it possess any uses other than visual and olfactory properties. Where as the so called ugly cacti provides the knowledgeable onlooker shade, water and sustenance at the same cost of a prick on the finger as that of a rose. The sting of a prick can be tolerated easier and easier if the return from the pain endured is greatly offset by the reward attained. | ||
