Is it just me or does anybody else ever do something instinctively and not realise they have done it until it is too late?
I seem to have a setting that puts me into autopilot, that I really can't control. Although, at times like last night it comes in really handy!!
My neighbours were at it again last night, arguing and screaming at each other till whatever time of night. I picked the time they went almost quiet to go to bed but went to the kitchen to get a glass of water first. That was when I saw Mr Downstairs storming out of the door wearing only boxer shorts and socks, closely followed by Ms Downstairs shouting at him and slaggging him off.
The white body contrasted on the black boxers at almost midnight o'clock caught my attention - so I stood at the window watching them, rather amused at the time.
My amusement lasted for about the time, it took for him to walk between the cars parked outside, at which point it was my car he walked up to and punched full strength and punched my wing mirror right off my car.
Can you say "red mist"?
I opened my kitchen window and shouted out to him (I cant remember exactly what he shouted but my reply was that I would be down in a minute to "discuss" it with him)
When I got down there he came marching up to me telling me that he was gonna punch my fucking face off, or words to that effect.......
lmao...this is where my adrenalin must have kicked in (literally)...He was about 3 inches from my face when my foot acted all on its own and did something that made him roll around on the ground screaming and crying!
I phoned the police and gave a statement later and I told them everything, they laughed and glossed over my actions. Although I am not worried about that, I did tell them the truth and am not scared to do that. What I did was totally self-defence and if anybody tries to say any different I will answer to it then, I really did nothing I am ashamed of.
He was arrested today, I have not heard back if he has been charged yet, nor do I care.
All I have thought of today is.....
The police man who took my statement was HAWWWTTTTTTTTTT
